First Bzzagent Campaign!!

I am so excited!! I joined bzzagent a month or two ago. I finally got picked for my first campaign! I just received it on Monday and I used it last night. I loved this product before. I had the pink razor/trim style combo before. I've used it for a couple years and I love it. So, I was really excited to receive this. My legs still feel smooth today. I think that the razor part is much improved. I can't wait to see how long it will be before I have to shave again. Probably tomorrow, haha! I want to thank bzzagent for letting me a part of this campaign to test this product for free. I am giving my honest review of the product.

So, I love this razor! I have used it as my actual razor for the last two months and I can't ever go back. Even though, my last razor was this ones previous razor. I cannot explain how amazingly close it shaves. My husband will comment a few days later on how soft my legs feel. It is so nice not having to shave your legs as often. Even better is that it has a trimmer too!! I get to keep my bikini line in check with just a few minutes in the shower. It's better than having to wait and do it one time and take a while.. if you get my drift. My legs feel so soft and moisturized and not dry after some shaves. All in all, this is a great razor. I highly recommend it!!

Sisters Baby Shower

So this past weekend I threw a baby shower for my sister. Over the past 3 months, I have worked pretty hard on making her decorations. I hand made just about everything. Her gift was the shower and the two diaper bouquets, I made. I also gave her lots of baby care items with the games we played. I'm going to just show you some of the things I made by hand. Definitely, easy to throw a nice shower for a small budget!

I made this for my sister as part of her gift. I make them for all my friends who have babies.

This was her corsage that I made myself. I whipped it up the night before because I kind of forgot! Not bad from just walking through the store and picking up a couple things before a dinner date.

This was the favors, guest book and diaper game table. The diaper game was the cool one where people just write funny messages on the diapers!

I made these huge paper flowers and used those to cover up the tape that was holding up the clothes line. We went through the outfits she already had for Avery and picked  a bunch that we liked. I hung them around the lodge. It was a great hit. Easy, cheap and a big hit!

-You can also see my tables here. I used pink and white table cloths and all the centerpieces were hand made. I made two diaper bouquets and one with a stuffed elephant. You can kind of see both here. People showed up too early and I was still trying to get things finished. Then people helped clean up early and I just never got around to taking close up pictures! Gr! All that work!

Here's a picture of a regular table without a big centerpiece (too many tables). It's a diaper cake layer, about 7 diapers, with a pop flower on top. I used some wood sticks to stick in the middle of the diapers. Looked pretty awesome. I had small hurricanes with white and pink daisies. I also had light pink tulle and pearl strands in all the vases/centerpieces. My sister is obsessed with the pearl strands.

These were a PAIN! I made 25 of these water bottles. It took hours to make these but my sister really wanted them. They seemed to get a lot of comments. So at least there is that. I seriously, hated the fact that I had to throw so many in the trash at the end of the shower. AHHH. the pain. haha

My sister's friend made this cake. It was gorgeous! It even had some sparkle on it and was just so pretty. My sister really hated to cut it.

Here's a picture of the gift table with the hanging clothes line.

Here's another picture of the other side of the room. You can kind of see my tables a little better (centerpieces) which were all moved around.

April Glam Bag!! @ipsy

#BeautifullyBohemian
This is my April Glam Bag from Ipsy! It is my second bag and I love this one.

I will update with my review of each product when I've tried them out. I'm so excited to do so!

I love this nail color! It's a bright summer polish and goes on so easy. I've had it on for two days and there's no chips but I go into work soon. Work will definitely be the test. This is my first time using Julie nail polish!
What cute packaging! I've heard so many great things about this brand. I've never used the Balm before and am so excited that it's in the bag this month. I actually think that I like my pixi eye shadow from last month more. This is cool packaging and I love the color. I used it for my sisters shower and it was barely noticeable by the end it. So I'm not sure how great it is. I'm going to try and put on more next time and see if it lasts longer. So far, I just think it's okay.

I did not care for this. I'm not a big perfume person and it's not selected on my quiz. So I'm not sure why I received it. The scent is okay but it didn't last long. I'm very picky with perfume scents and that's why I don't usually wear it. It is not something I'll be wearing.

This is by far my FAVORITE product from this bag. I love the color and how well it went on. It made my lips look gorgeous!! I am hooked now but it costs $21. I will most likely never be able to afford it! I'll have to use this on special occasions.

I did not like this product at all. It made my hair feel gross and stringy. It was hard to brush out and I definitely felt like my hair was worse off. Oh well, can't win them all!

Refurbished end tables!

I've been wanting to refurbish these two end tables for months! We bought the one dor 2.50 at a garage sale. We sanded it and then bought a house! So that project came to a standstill.  Well this weekend it was 70 degrees out and beautiful! It was time to finish this project. Unfortunately, with my excitement, I forgot to take before pictures. I did take a picture of this after the first coat and before the lace.

After I let this dry, then I added the lace. My husband and I picked out a pattern we liked and then draped it over the top of this table. This was the first time that I've ever tried it. So, there were some problems I became aware of. You have to make sure the lace is completely flat against the surface. Also, make sure that you spray a generous amount of spray paint against it. Overall, I think it turned out well. We are in love with it!

I think it looks rather awesome, if I don't say so!

I got a bit excited and wanted to do the second end table immediately. Why not?! We actually didn't do anything to this. We didn't sand it or strip it. I tested the Primer + Paint on a small piece to see how it would come out. We liked it enough to go ahead with the whole project. This is how it turned out..

It looks just as good as the first table. I absolutely love the fact that paint exists with primer. It makes the job so much easer. We used Valspar paint from Lowe's. It was less than $4 a can.
