January will be better!

Hey guys!

Well.. I'm not sure anyone reads this... soo yeah.

Anyways, I've been pretty sick the last few months but I'm getting better! My energy level is getting a bit stronger every day. I have a ton of posts that I need to do. I'm not even sure if I did Sephora and Ulta holiday hauls! I'll have to look.  Here are some upcoming:

-New Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Twinkle Palette vol. 2
-Too Faced White Chocolate Chip palette
- Planner Hauls- soo many! Michael's has been taking all my money lately!
-Dipping into the Lettering world
-HOLIDAY CRAFTING!- So excited for this one! Not sure if I will do individual posts for each one or a whole post for all. Still thinking on that one.
-Too Faced Sweet Peach

That's all I can think of on the top of my head, for now. I'm hoping that 2017 will be much better! 2016 hasn't been terrible, but could have been better. As I'm writing this, I keep thinking about Carrie Fisher. Ugh.. how sad! Many thoughts to her family and friends. May the force be with her.

That's all for now! I'll try to really start getting posts up regularly, starting next week. Hope everyone had a happy holiday!! Happy New Year!

Washi Tape Collection

Being a huge crafter, I am a collector of washi tape, obviously. I mean, they have so many uses in my crafting. I use them when I'm making my own cards, scrapbooking and now with my new planning hobby. I was actually buying more items for my planner when I accidentally purchased two duplicate styles. I then saw on a facebook group, that you can use a piece of paper and make an index of what you have. It's a brilliant idea and I worked on it yesterday. I love how it came out and I can stick it in the pocket folder of my planner to take around with me. I have had to add a couple pages to it because I've acquired a lot of washi lately! NO JUDGEMENT PLEASE! :):):)

I thought I should show you my collection first.. so here it is...

Now onto the project I was talking about... I did small pieces, so I could get a lot on a sheet. It's a little page, so it could fit in my planner and I'll always have it with me. These are three pages, front and back.

Here is where I keep them in my planner :) By the way, I have a ban.do planner!

Planner Addict Box October 2016

This will be brief... It's my October Planner Addict Box. It's $18.75 a month with shipping. This box was super cute and I loved it! This is my second box!

Planner Addict Box - November 2016

This is my third Planner Addict Box. I really like it so far. I know that a lot of people are talking about the quality going down. Since I haven't been a sub that long, I probably don't know what I'm missing. The only thing I don't like about it is that they say it's $15 a month. It's not, it's $15 plus shipping ~ $18.75 is the total. THAT is the cost of this box, shipping is not forgotten for me!

Anyway, here are the contents of my box!

This box is a little slim on the planner sticker side.. Anyways, that pen is awesome! It's made of real wood. So cool. I guess that makes up for the lack of stickers. It's okay though, I really like everything else. I'm not a fan of the "treat" they add. It's been a candy that looks like it's a stock from party city. This month was a tea bag.. I could go without that and have something else planner related. Overall, I really am liking this so far! :)

Sephora Minnie Palette Swatches

This palette looked so cute in stores! I waited months and months for it to not sell out and go on sale. It definitely went on sale for $27 and I jumped on it. Not only do you get the eye shadows, you get the little clutch with it! I think it's more of a collectors item though. This is the Minnie Eye Shadow palette from Sephora.

Below,  I have some swatches. Again, this is more of a collector's item. These shadows were not the best quality. Not sure how they will do on the eyes, but I'm guessing not the greatest. I'll update when I use them!

This is the first row and the worst, by far. I went over a few of these a couple of times and really had to press into the shadows to get pigment. You still can't see some of them. Granted, some of them are similar to my skin color.

The second row is a little bit better. There's more shimmers and those seem to do a lot better. I was really looking forward to that green and it did not pay off! Oh well, I'll just have to pack it on. The second color is gorgeous though. The lavender shimmer color is beautiful!

This one was even more pigmented than the previous. I felt like they were getting better and better as I went on. Some of the shimmers were softer than others. These colors did great and I only did a small swatch, no digging. I like some of the softer colors, so this was probably my favorite row.

This was probably the most vibrant of the whole palette. These colors swatched really great and that yellow! I will definitely have to try them on the eyes but this is just a swatch post. Anyways, this was probably my second favorite row.

Overall, this palette is just okay. So glad that I only paid $27 and not the $58, I think? I don't quite remember what the full price was. Anyways, if you want a cute piece and a collector's item for your vanity, this is a great one! It's still in stock as of today, so if you want it, get it! It's on sale :)

Morphe 35O - Finally!!

The Morphe 35O! I finally got my hands on this thing and I can't believe it took me this long! This palette is gorgeous! I'm not the biggest fan of the Morphe packaging but it's not a deal breaker. The prices are really great. This palette is a warm toned lovers dream! There are some cooler tone browns in here too. I have some swatches down below. I think this does really well on the eyes too! I did use primer but I always use a primer. I feel like you always get more pop and it's more long lasting.

Okay, so this is the 35O- Color Nature Glow eye shadow palette and is $22.99 at the morphebrushes.com website.

A lot of these colors are really similar. It was pretty hard getting these pictures in order! Somehow, they didn't transfer in order and it was a minute to get them figured out. Anyways, some of these shimmers are really not as soft as the matte colors. They are gorgeous and swatch great but they are not as buttery. There are also some colors that feel we to the touch and are so soft. They are more of the foiled shimmers and they are gorgeous! I can't wait to wear more of them on my eyes!

As of right now, this is still in stock! It's been in stock for a while now, which is surprising. Anyways, I always use the "adoptlove" code for 10% off. I know it's not much but it really helps because shipping is steep @ almost $8 bucks! Yikes!

Do what I did and wait for something LE to come out and hope it's in stock and then make one order! This helps you from spending a lot over time on shipping. I've also ordered with a friend and we have split the shipping cost too. This is a great palette and good for a lot of beautiful eye looks!

Boxycharm October 2016

Boxycharm is a subscription box that is $21 a month. I know that it's more than your ipsy or birchbox but the best part, ALL ITEMS ARE FULLSIZE!!! That's right! You pay $21 for full size items, no samples! One of the things I like best is that I can opt in and out of boxes on the regular. I think this is my third boxy for the year. I usually wait until a few people get theirs and post what most of the items in the box are. I then will decide if I want it or not. This month was AWESOME! I couldn't pass it up. I'm also subbing next month (November) because there's a gorgeous eye shadow palette in it! If you would like to sign up, here is a referral for you: https://boxycharm.com/refer/Lesli-EZXWIERB

Now onto this box... Here's a pic of what is inside. They have started to have boxes with more options, so you don't all get the same thing anymore. It's nice but at the same time there is no quiz, so you might get colors that are way off.

1. Luxie Beauty Eye Blender Brush Pack - $36.00

   - This was my main reason for purchasing this box. I LOVE luxie brushes and I couldn't beat the price! These are regular $36 and the whole box was only $21. Everyone received these.

2. Ofra Beverly Hills Highlighter- $39.95
-I was SO excited to get this. I really didn't think I had a chance because a lot of people were not getting this. I was really excited to get this because it was actually on my "to buy" list for months now. I just couldn't ever justify the $40 price tag! Really glad to have gotten this!

3. IBY Beauty Threes Company Eye Shadow Trio - $19

-I have never heard of this but love the colors. It swatched really well too. So, I can't wait to try it out on the eyes. Will be great for travel!

4. NCLA Cuticle Oil- $18

- I haven't used this yet but I cannot wait. It smells SO good. The whole box smelled like it and it was lovely.

5. Cargo Swimmable Water Resistant Bronzer - $29

-I haven't used this yet but it's a beautiful color. I like some Cargo, so I'm excited for this!

I have some swatches below.. this is the order, from top to bottom:

1. Cargo Bronzer

2-6. Ofra Highlighter - all 5 shades

7-9- Eye shadow trio

Lorac Mega Pro 3

Here is the Lorac Mega Pro 3. I'm so sorry, at how late this is going up. It's sold out online and only available, in stores @ Ulta. I'm not sure how many would still have it in stock. If you have been on the fence, GO NOW!  This is worth it and it's a must have! This is my very first Mega Pro but I have all the other pro palettes and most of the others too. Lorac is one of my favorite brands!

I have included a picture of the biggest con, the mess. It's a gorgeous concept, the white and rose gold. It's just going to be a mess. This is the after swatching happened. I was very careful too, trying not to make a mess. It's just going to get all over. It's okay though, the quality and pigmentation is worth it being a little high maintenance!

Overall, my biggest complaint is the packaging... while beautiful, not practical. The shadows are gorgeous and right up my alley! I love the color selection and it's one of the biggest draws, for me. They feel so soft and buttery. Yes, they have some kick up but it's okay, really. They are very pigmented and long lasting. These are one of my favorite shadow formulations. I know that a lot of holiday products skimp on the quality for bigger quantity, but that's not the case here. Even the lightest shades show up really nicely. I love this palette! One of my favorite releases of the holiday season!

Sephora Favorites: Glow For It

I saw this Glow kit go up and had to buy it. Glowing is crazy in right now. I'm obsessed with it and so is everyone else. I wasn't sure how long it would be in stock. Anyways, here's what you get for $30. Not a bad price! I've wanted to try some of these products for a while and this is a great way to do it! A lot of them are subtle, but that's totally okay. Sometimes I don't want to glow to the Heavens.

I have a couple swatches... this is definitely an awesome kit and you need it in your life. :)

Ulta Reward Points $192.50 Haul!!!

What, WHAT?!?! This is my Ulta Rewards Haul!! I saved up my points for over a year and went on a major shopping spree! I'm so glad I did because some of this stuff is completely sold out now! Guys, I am beyond excited. I paid $30 out of pocket for all of this! I have pictures and swatches of a couple of the palettes but I'm going to do a separate post for the Lorac Mega Pro 3. Guys, this is gorgeous and it's almost sold out. Only in stores at Ulta and very few left. If you can, get your hands on this, you need it!

I agonized over my cart for over a week! This is what I finally went with and I'm not having any regrets! Love the holidays, it's my favorite time of year! The makeup is also awesome.

This is the smashbox LIGHT IT UP: L.A. Lights Palette- Contour, Blush and Highlight. It was $39 bucks and a great deal. It swatched great and there's so much product in here. I usually don't use Smashbox products. I don't like their eyeshadows as much as others. I saw a lot of positive reviews and swatched it in the store.

Here are the swatches.. and they are pretty vibrant! The highlights are a bit powdery and a little more subtle but that's okay. I think the blushes are great and really pigmented. I think this is a great deal and good quality too!

Next is the Lorac Blush Palette. I love ANYTHING Lorac. They are my number 2 favorite brand, sorry- Tarte is totally #1! Anyways, I have Tinge and just purchased it as party of the Ulta 21 days of beauty. I'll gift that one at Christmas time now, since I have this palette. These are amazing. All of their Color and Light Source products are fabulous. Really!

Here are the swatches: Great! They feel so, so soft. Like touching butter and are really pigmented. You can never go wrong with any of these.

These are the Stila lip kit swatches. I love, love these. I'm sorry for the pic, it's not the greatest. I had a lot of trouble finding the sun because it's been cloudy for over a week. I really needed to get this up, so this is what you get.. so sorry! Anyways, they are GORGEOUS and the new glitter topper is really awesome! This is a great value and you get great products. If you wanted to try the Stila lips, this is a great way to do it. You get a good array of colors and even though, they are mini, they will last you a while. I'm starting to love mini's because I can't get through full size anymore!

Morphe Kathleen Lights Collab!

As soon as I saw that this was happening, I marked my calendar! Kathleen Lights is by far one of my favorite youtubers. The only other collab I have purchased are her colourpop ones. This palette was only $14.99 and I decided to order the 35O, finally but that will be a separate post! This packaging is different than their plastic ones. It's cardboard and magnetic, I like it.

The inside has a great color selection! I'm a warm color girl, so I love this. I love that pop of green though.

This palette swatched great!! It's so buttery and soft. It really took the littlest amount of pressure and it gave the greatest pay off. The only one that is really lacking, is the black. It's actually barely noticeable and feels really weird. I had to really dig to get that swatch there. I know that she said she wanted a buildable black but this one has to be really built.

Overall, this is a GREAT palette! It's soft, buttery and gorgeous. I can't wait to play with it more. It is sold out right now but she's said multiple times, she's going to try to get them to restock once more. I hope she does, you need it!

Update! Sorry for the inactivity!

I have been really inactive the last few months. This summer was really crazy for us. With planning my husbands surprise 30th birthday and all the family activities, it got so busy. I was also really under the weather for a couple months. I'm on the mend now, the schedule is a bit more clearer *a little, not much* and it's time to get back at it. I also hadn't really purchased many make-up items either. Now, with the holidays, I have a huge Ulta haul and working on my Sephora VIB sale haul.

I have cancelled my Ipsy and Birchbox subscriptions. I still occasionally do Boxycharm. So, sometimes I will have those listed, when I opt in. I have started a sub to Planner Addict Box and LOVE it. I am all about using a planner now. Seriously, I don't know how I lived without one, especially with my busy life.

I do have some posts about that and I will have more. With the holidays coming up, I will also post some of my craft gifts and all that. I'm really excited to be getting my Cricut on Black Friday! Woot! Okay, I think that's all for now. I have a ton of posts planned, so I will get to it. Thanks for stopping by! I really appreciate it :)

My Craft Room

I've been tweaking my craft room for a year now. I have this itch to buy everything I could possibly need. I've been saving up and will be getting a cricut on Black Friday, this year. I will also be getting a sewing machine. I already have my table, thanks to my Dad! I am really excited about that. Anyways, let me share some pictures of my craft room. I've tried to utilize every bit of room that I can. I have to share it with the office and it's not the biggest room, to begin with. I love it though. It makes me so happy to just be in here!

I got this cube and totes from Target, on sale. I love how it stores so many things and looks cute at the same time. I also have an embosser, by Sizzix, that I use for making my own cards. Next to it, I have a laminator that I got at Walmart for less than $20!

This is the table that my dad gave to me. It had a flap that is open now, but can be smaller. I have a Raskog cart from Ikea next to it. I just got it and intend to use it from sewing/cricut items.

Next, is the office desk, where my husband spends a lot of time studying. I have The Goodwife up on Hulu. I'm always watching Netflix or Hulu when I'm in the craft room. Sorry, there is a window and a glare.

This is where I do most of my crafting. This table has two flaps that fold out, but I usually don't have them out. My husband and I painted and put that peg board together! It was a pain but absolutely worth it. I have various things on here, that I use constantly. I have some tools, washi, quilling and burning tools, pens/pencils/markers and paint. There's lots of things and I love how much I can fit on this pegboard. It really helps me make the most out of this space.

Finally, one of my favorite updates to our house, so far. We weren't really using this closet but to store some boxes of books. I got the idea off pinterest. I really needed additional workspace and instead of buying an expensive new desk (L-Shaped), we decided on re-doing the closet. I added the shelves and the work space. I love it! It really helped me with craft storage and utilizing a small space and making it into a nice work space.

I'm just throwing this out because it took so long to make these flowers. I made them for my sister's baby shower and couldn't stand to throw them away. I put them up around my door and never took them down. I quite like them and it makes the room more cheery.

This is my little piece of heaven. Is there anything that I'm missing? Any tools or things that you would suggest that are must haves for a craft room?! I do ALL kinds of crafts! Let me hear your ideas!!!!

Nordstrom Sale: Lorac Refind Romance Palette

During the Nordstrom sale, I received a $10 coupon towards a purchase for being a part of their rewards program. I really didn't have much of a budget left, so I was SO excited when I found a new Lorac eye/cheek palette available for $18. With free shipping and the coupon, I paid about $9 for it! It's gorgeous and I am in love with the colors. I have a huge love for Lorac. I really love all their eyeshadows and their highlighters too! Here are some swatches for you:

First lets look at this packaging! This is the outside of the palette, gorgeous!

Here is a close up of the inside. There are 4 shimmer shadows, 2 matte shadows and 3 face products- 2 highlighters and 1 blush. The blush is amazing. I love the color so much! I have some swatches below with natural light and one without.

This is a great palette! It's gorgeous on the eyes/face and it lasts all day. I do use a primer with the shadows but I always do. This was a great value and I'm so glad that I was able to pick it up. I'm not surprised though because I love Lorac.

Make Up Forever Metal Palette

I got an email that this metal palette by Make Up Forever was on sale again. I quickly went to Sephora and purchased the Large. I have quite a collection of single eyeshadow pans from makeup sub boxes and purchases. I did not have a Z Palette and I thought this would be a great purchase!

This is a really sleek palette. I did find that my Mac singles don't stick to the pan as well as the other brands I have. Not sure if the magnet isn't as strong or what. I do like it though and it's going to work out well for me! I couldn't believe the price. I believe I paid $13 for the Large size, I can't quite remember. There is plenty of room in here too! I'll be able to buy some more eyeshadow singles now! I'm really wanting to make a Makeup Geek single pan purchase too!

This is a pretty thin packaging too. The only thing is that the black does show fingerprints and can get  pretty dirty. So just be weary of that.

This was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. I still have plenty of room in here! I have two OFRA highlighters and the rest are eyeshadows from Mac and one from Anastasia Beverly Hills.
