June Favorites 2016!

This is my first favorites post! I don't like to do videoes but there's no reason I can't do the same with my blog! I will be doing this from now on. So fun to take a look at the new things I have added each month and fallen in love with! I just took some quick pics.. I do have some swatch/review posts for the palettes. I'll link those below the palette, if you would like a closer view and better pics. There's a lot but this is my first one. So here goes...

Mario Bardescue Rose Water

-This feels amazing. I use it everyday and most of the time, when I'm not even wearing makeup. It just gives your face a fresh feeling. It smells amazing too, just like roses. My friend was with me when I used it last and she went to purchase one too. This stuff is amazing. I want to try out more of the MD product line! Any recommendations?

Morphe 35F -Fall into Frost

- This is my very first Morphe palette and I'm in love. The quality and quantity that you get for the value is amazing. I honestly can't believe it. My friend and I ordered this together and we were both blown away. It wears beautifully and last all day. They feel like butter and blend so well. I will say that they do have some fallout but if you just pat it on your lid, it works better..

Butter London Polish in Sunnies

-They were having a sell for $8 and this called to me. I'm so glad that I purchased it because it is so pretty. I definitely feel lighter and brighter when I'm wearing it. I feel like the sunshine is on my nails and it's a great feeling. Especially, on days when you are stuck at work and inside all day!

Jeffree Star Peach Goddess

- This is my first highlighter by him. I had to wait forever and missed out on the initial launch. I love this for a few reasons! First, is the size. IT. IS. HUGE. Not kidding! Second, it is gorgeous! It's so shiny and you just need the littlest bit. A little definitely goes a long way and this will last me forever.

Jeffree Star Doll Parts

- This is my second liquid lip that I've purchased from JS. I love this. This color is amazing and it has such lasting power. I think I like this more than Androgyny! What?! I know! This has been one of my go to lips lately.

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer

-This bronzer is everything!! I bought a backup because I love this so much. I haven't used another bronzer in months. I have been telling everyone about this. Not only does it last all day, blend great, it smells so good! Kind of like coconut sunscreen but better.

Jaclyn Hill Champagne Face Palette

- I ordered this when I was on vacation. That's how bad I wanted this! I've had Champagne Pop on my wish list for over a year and haven't pulled the plug. I saw this and I knew that I had to have it. I couldn't wait! It's as gorgeous on the face as it looks in the palette. It lasts long and looks great. You only need the lightest touch. There is some kickup, so be weary of that. I think that I liked Prosecco a bit more than Champagne, highlighter wise. You will not be disappointed with this, if you can get your hands on it!

Swatches Here: Champagne Face Palette

Lorac Pro 3

- I love all Lorac powders. I have a couple of their highlighters and just about all of their palettes. I love them all and this one is no different. These colors are right up my alley. They work well on the eyes and blend great. The only bag one in this is the bronze shade -Medallion-. It's awful and you really have to work hard for it to pay off.

Swatches here: Lorac Pro 3

That is all of them! Please comment below and tell me if any of these are your favorites or if you have any to add. I'm always out for new makeup! :)

Birchbox Points Purchase!

With the new Birchbox point system changing, I thought it was time to cash in. I've been saving for like 8 months but a lot of people are buying up and cancelling. I couldn't get the Benefit Cheekathon and didn't want any more of my cart to sell out!

By the way, I will be cancelling too. Their samples are extemely tiny and I only stuck around for the awesome points.

You now only get points for shopping and referrals. Not going to happen often here. They also took away the anniversary percentages and your points expire in 6 months, even if you are an ACE.

Anyways, into my purchases! I had $90 in points and only paid $19 out of pocket! These are all full size items.

Laura Mercier Translucent Oil-Free Loose Setting Powder - 1 0z $38

-I am so excited to try this. I've been hearing about it for over a year (first started getting into makeup) and it's been on my list.

Jouer Long-Wear Lip Crème Liquid Lipstick in Petale De Rose -$18

-I got Cassis in my Birchbox and decided I would buy a couple because I loved the formula. So soft and has great staying power. This one of the most recommended shades and it looked right up my alley.

Jouer Long- Wear Lip Crème Liquid Lipstick in Dulce de Leche - $18

-I was having a hard time deciding between this and Petale de Rose and so I decided I needed both! haha.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Patina- $24

-This was sold out FOREVER on Birchbox. I've heard about this over and over and when it finally came back in stock, I immediately added it to my cart. I was worried this would sell out fast.

Benefit POREfessional  Face Primer- .75oz $31

- I love, love this primer. I've had several samples and I'm almost out. It was time to actually purchase a full size. This works amazing at smoothing out my skin and adhering to my skin and makeup. I love this primer. I've tried a few and I just keep going back to this one.

These are some of my wish list items, so I'm very happy with what I got! I can't beat it for only $19!! I'm pretty stoked to use this stuff. Have you cashed in any of your points?! What are your Birchbox freebies?! I would love to hear it!

Play! by Sephora May 2016

Oh, Sephora, what are we to do with you?! This is the mystical box that so many were after for so long. I was on the waitlist from day one and lasted there for 7 months. I think it is a little more open to others now. This was the first month that they switched from the cute lipstick box to this bag. Its a win and a loss. I like that I don't have to store the boxes size but I always use them to store things. This bag, is useless and I really wont be using it. At least, with ipsy, you can actually use it as a makeup bag.

Anyways, the bag this month was cute but I don't know what I will do with several. Now, onto the products.

Origins Maskimizer Skin Optimizing Mask Primer + some masks (yay)

I love this. I don't know if it's the actual item working or a placebo but it feels like it gives my skin/mask an extra "umph." I feel like it just makes the mask go that extra mile and the results are great!

Bite Beauty, Amuse Bouche Lipstick- Kimchi
This is a bright pink, maybe too bright. I don't know that I can pull it off. Although, I've been wearing it more at home to get used to it. It's not in my comfort zone yet. Anyways, it's a great formula. Feels really good, has great pigmentation and it lasts a long time.

Tarteist Lip Crayon- Latergram
This is a mauve lip crayon that is just gorgeous. The sample is so small and I really want to buy one eventually. It's such a great nude mauve that works with many other colors in your collection, for sure. I also like to use it as just a crayon when I'm in a hurry. It has staying power but not too long.

KORRES Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening

I am a sucker for ANYTHING rose. Like anything! So, I was so excited to get this. I don't know that it actually brightened up my skin but it feels and smells great! I've only used it like twice, so I need to use it more consistently and I will get back to you!

Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask

I have not tried this yet. I'm so sorry!

Atelier Cologne - Orange Sanguine Cologne Asolue Pure Perfume

- Oh my gosh! I hate perfume and I am SO picky but I LOVE this! It smells like oranges and it smells so fresh and clean. It does not smell like only lady, which I feel like most do. It smells so unique and my husband even loved it. I wish I could afford to actually purchase this but it's $120 a bottle! --EEKK, so sad.

Birchbox May 2016

This box was actually awesome. The only thing that I wasn't happy about was the Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo. It's like my third one from them! I've been with them for a year at this point. Come on!

What this box includes:

Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo

-I am so tired of getting this because my hair does not like it. That's all.

Laura Geller NY Spackle Treatment Even Tone Make-up Primer

-I was so excited about this because I have been wanting to try it. Unlike, their usual samples, this is actually a decent size! I am LOVING it so far. It had a bit of a shine to it and makes your skin so luminous, but subtle. I holds all day and it's been working great with my skin.

Jouer Long-Wear Lip Crème Liquid Lipstick- Casis

-I almost screamed when I saw this was in my box! I have been seeing this liquid lip all over the place and haven't been able to purchase any. I LOVE THIS! This liquid lip is a bit mousse and it is not drying at all. It feels amazing and it definitely lasts a long time. I will be purchasing the Petal de Rose color at some point. :)

COOLA Classic Face Sport SPF50 White Tea

-I'm loving COOLA products. This came at the perfect time, for me to use on vacation. I love how their moisturizers sink into your skin and doesn't make you feel greasy. This product is a bit thicker but it doesn't make your face oily or greasy. I love it and it smells so good.

Real Chemistry Luminous 3-minute Peel -Body

-I actually really liked this. It was interesting but it really did make my skin feel good and soft. I don't think it really was too "luminous" but it definitely made my skin feel good.

Overall, this is a great box! I was really happy with it.

First Mac order!!!

I've had a cart with MAC for months. I have heard a lot about their shadows but were a bit out of my price range. When they dropped their eye shadow pans to $6, from $10, I was even more convinced I needed them. I did a lot of research and had a list of about 30 shadows. I had to narrow it down to 4, for my first order. Still, I had them sitting in my cart for a few more months. Last week, they had a sale for best friends day, 15% off your purchase. They always have free shipping going on, which is awesome! So, I finally pulled the trigger and now an obsession has been born.

Who am I kidding?! I'm already makeup obsessed. These eye shadows are hyped up for a reason though. They are great. I barely touched them for a swatch and this is the pigment I got! Are you kidding me?! That's crazy and it totally transfers to the eye. They have long lasting power and there's a lot of pigment in those pans. I will be purchasing more in the future, for sure! I REALLY need to get my hands on a z-palette first. They can be pricey, so I have been hesitant because I don't have a ton of pans yet.

Fall into Summer Morphe 35F -First order from Morphe-

This is my VERY first Morphe palette. I've had my eye on the 35O palette but it is always sold out! When I saw this palette on instagram (Thanks, Trendmood1) my friend and I jumped on it! This way, we could split the shipping cost, which is almost $8!

It has definitely turned both of us into believers. These shadows are GORGEOUS! They are so smooth and very pigmented. I used it for the first time this week and they last all day! I definitely use a primer but I always do. I have combo skin and sometimes my lids get oily. This palette will also be perfect for fall. I will be using it a lot more then. I can't believe how many shadows you get for the price. Even better, is that they are great quality shadows!

350, I'm coming for you! So is Anna, lol.

Too Faced Peanut Butter & Jelly Swatches

I completely understand why this is sold out everywhere. I got lucky enough to pick it up with my $10 off at Ulta for my Birthday. This feels so soft and buttery to the touch and they swatch like a dream. Every single color is just gorgeous! I love this palette.

It's $36 dollars and permanent, if they can ever keep it in stock! It is an Ulta exclusive, so you can only get it there or TooFaced.com.

Here are some swatches:

Too Faced Country Palette Swatches

I got this palette as a Birthday gift from, Anna! Thanks, Anna!! Love ya girl. Anyways, I have been eyeing this for probably a year. I was so undecided on it but some of the colors just looked so pretty.

I had a bit of trouble swatching this. They were a bit tough to the touch and I really had to dig to get enough pigment. I did notice that some of them had this top layer and once removed, they swatched much better. Some of the lighter colors were hard to see but it's because they are so close to my skin tone. It really is a very pretty palette and I cannot wait to put it on my eyes.

This is a $36 palette and is available at Ulta. com, Ulta stores and on Toofaced.com

Lorac Pro 3 Swatches + Mini Review

This palette is EVERYTHING. I really couldn't wait to get my hands on this. So when Ulta released it for Platinum members a week ago, I had to jump on it. It was just too pretty that I needed it in my hands ASAP. It did not disappoint.

It has the same sleek packaging that the 1st and 2nd pro palettes have too. It is so pretty! There are 8 mattes and 8 shimmers in this palette. The top is the matte and the bottom are the shimmer. I have included swatches of them below. This palette is lighter than the previous palettes. It's more natural. It's not really a dupe for the Naked 3 though. There's only a handful of rose/pink tones.

This palette will be available online at ULTA.com on June 12th and in stores on June 26th. There is the same amount of product at 8.8g/ 0.32oz

Here's a small video to give you an up close look at the colors.

The mattes are so pigmented and feel like butter. It is so soft and there's not much kick-up. The palette actually looks the cleanest after playing in the mattes, compared to the shimmers. There's just shade out of this whole palette that is just bad. It's the shimmer 'Medallion'. It's so pretty and still works but it is not pigmented and just picks up a lot of glitter. It looks really ugly after swatching it too. You have to dig a bit to pick up pigment. I am wondering how it does on the eyes!

Champagne Glow by Jaclyn Hill & Becca Cosmetics Swatches + Mini Review

I added a lot of pictures of this beauty! GORGEOUS packaging. For real, it's one of the best! I also added swatches with the names. This way, you can kind of just see the swatches without the names too. Sometimes the names make it hard to see.

Now, lets talk about the colors. I wasn't sure about Pamplemousse when I first saw it in the palette. I am glad to say, it's not as bad as I thought! I definitely will use it. Each and every item is so, so pigmented. I didn't have to use much to get those swatches, which is awesome.

They don't feel as soft as other products I have but that's okay since it's the pay off is amazing, regardless. I also did a mix of both highlighters and it's really pretty too! It's kind of hard to see because it's similar to my skin tone but I promise it's pretty!

This is a must have. If you are lucky enough to get your hands on it, do it. You will not regret it! I've always wanted to try champagne pop but glad I held off. It's $38 for a full size champagne pop and this whole palette was $52. The total weight is 20.4g/0.72oz.  I won't lie, that's a bit steep. It is worth it though and I don't think I'll ever get through this whole thing. I have a ton of highlighters!

Light Illusion Prism Palette by Fiona Stiles Swatches + Mini Review

I got this for 1/2 off at Ulta for a Platinum perk. I'm highlighter crazy. I'm serious. I must own them all. I saw reviews that were back and forth on it. I decided to take the plunge when I saw Tati, do a review and like this palette.

It definitely is the perfect palette for a soft glow. If you want to glow to the heavens, this is not for you. This is especially nice on "no makeup, makeup" days. I was surprised on how pigmented this was and how it stayed on my face all day. The packaging is so sleek and gorgeous too. I don't know that I would pay full price for it but if you ever catch it on sale, definitely grab it up!

Meet Matt(e) Trimony Swatches & Review

Above, I have pictures of the palette and of the swatches. These were so buttery and swatched so easy. A little really does go a long way. I didn't get a lot of kick up either. When applying to the eye, they really do carry a lot of pigment, so be careful.

Some of TheBalm eye shadow palettes I have had trouble with. I believe, it was the Nude Dude palette. The one with all the guys on it. I had some trouble with those shadows showing a lot of pigment. I do not get that with these at all.

They are great Mattes! This palette was $42 and I got it at Kohl's. They do have testers there, so you can swatch them before purchase, if you want. The pans are a big size! You get 21.6g/0.756oz total.
