Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette

I had to do something a little different and use stock pictures of the palette from Ulta.com. I actually had to do some work to get them that size but that's besides the point. I ordered it with my Platinum 20% from Ulta and it came shattered! I also got a Glow Kit that was shattered but they were able to replace that one. They could only refund me for the palette because they were sold out. :-(

So, there we go. The swatches are mine but I didn't want to show the ugly old palatte. I was able to fix the Glow Kit using the alcohol method. I also have a post just on that! It worked pretty well and I gave the busted up one to my sister because she really wanted it.

On to the palette.. It is amazing!! It's not over-hyped at all. The pigmentation is amazing and the smallest swatch is on my arms! The wear is great. I decided to try it without primer first and it lasted pretty well all day. It's definitely better with primer but most shadows disappear, without it. The shadows are so pretty and so unique too. There's really something here for everyone. I'm glad that she made this permanent! I highly recommend it!! Now.. onto the swatches!

#BlushVoxBox from @Influenster

I received the Blush VoxBox from Influenster. I actually received the wedding box last year too. Don't get me wrong, this is a great box and I'm REALLY grateful to get a box. It's really hard to get them. I'm just saying, the box last year was much better. I received way more makeup products and that's normally what I need for wedding season! Now, lets get back to this box...

I love the Simple Micellar Wipes. They are much better than their original wipes. I do prefer the Garnier Micellar water to these though. For a wipe, these are great. They take off a lot of makeup with one swipe and make your face feel fresh and clean. Great item.

The pantene shampoo and conditioner is also good. It's hard for me to tell because my hair always likes a change, so I don't know if that's what is going on here or not. It does seem to feel more hydrated at the moment. We will see if it keeps up!

The lashes are great. They are natural and don't look fake when I wear them. I'm not a huge lash person because I do have decent lashes. It is actually no that hard to tell the difference. I've worn one lash and no lash on the other and no one has really known the difference! These are great though and I like how easy they are to apply.

The secret clinical gel is just okay. It works great throughout the day but I definitely have to touch up when I get home. Most definitely, before I workout or play tennis. I don't really like the consistency of a gel and still don't. I prefer the powder. It isn't bad but it's not my cup of tea.

Overall, this is a great box and I'm really impressed with some of the items. I'm glad that I had the chance to use and review these items. Thanks to Influenster and all the brands included! All of these opinions are my own and in no way, have influenced me. :)

Loreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation Review

I was waiting forever for Ulta to get this and they just never did, in store. So, I was at Wal-mart, killing time with my husband, before a movie and saw it there. I purchased it and have been using it the last two weeks.

I'm in love with this! It makes you have such a natural glow and it really does last all day. It's been hot here, 90" + and humidity and it still stays on!

I do use primer, powder and setting spray, so that might have something to do with it. I love the pro-matte and I love this one too. I'm a combo girl. Mostly, oily in the t-zone and I don't feel like this makes me feel anymore shiny/oily. It doesn't make any of my face shiny, really. It just has a glow about it. It feels really light on the skin, like you are not wearing foundation at all. It is a bit runnier than most foundations, so beware of that! It can kind of squirt out of the bottle and you will have a mess.

I was worried because this is a lighter shade than I am in the pro-matte. It seems to match pretty well. I wish the shade range was better and that it matched their other foundations. It is also a bit on the high side for a foundation. It's $13 for  this drugstore product and it's getting a bit high. It's definitely worth it though.

Overall, I definitely recommend this! If you are looking for a beautiful glow this summer, this is the way to go. It's gorgeous on the skin and feels really good. Love it!

Jouer LE Mermaid Palette

I had my eye on this since it was released. The thing is, it was sold out! I couldn't even find it on Jouer's website. I then saw a post about Dermstore and how they were having 30% off. I never heard of the place before!

Apparently, it's owned by Target, which is cool. I can already say that their customer service is great but their packaging is awful.

I ordered this and got it pretty quick, so they have fast shipping too. The only thing is that this was not wrapped, at all. Nada. It was just the palette, two samples and the packaging slip. No bubble wrap or any protection whatsoever.

Of course, I had a color come in completely busted and all over the box and palette. It was also the darkest shade, so it was a mess. I took a picture, contacted them and they sent me a replacement one, within a few hours. I got the replacement palette 2 days later and still not packaged well. The white shade came completely shattered. I am about to email them that they need to protect their items better because it came in broken again. I'm just going to switch out the bad and good shadows from both palettes to make one complete palette. I'm also going to try and fix the broken ones, as I have seen done in a couple makeup groups!

Anyways, onto the palette...

It is gorgeous! There is definitely fallout and it's powdery on the brush. I also had glitter all over my face, so that was not good. It is gorgeous on the lids though. I used a patting technique and some setting spray, to get the shine to really pop. It really lasted all day, with primer. I always use primer though. I do feel like they are a bit delicate but that's not a big deal.

I got this for 30% off and I don't know that I would buy it at full price. It might be that they are so shimmery and that's why they are so delicate. They do look great on the eyes and feel really good though. I just feel like they have a little too much fallout. As you know, glitter is a pain to try and get off! It goes everywhere!!! I don't know, maybe the whole process just dampened my excitement a bit.

I need to find a better trick to keep all the glitter from falling all over my face. Any tips, would be great!

June Favorites 2016!

This is my first favorites post! I don't like to do videoes but there's no reason I can't do the same with my blog! I will be doing this from now on. So fun to take a look at the new things I have added each month and fallen in love with! I just took some quick pics.. I do have some swatch/review posts for the palettes. I'll link those below the palette, if you would like a closer view and better pics. There's a lot but this is my first one. So here goes...

Mario Bardescue Rose Water

-This feels amazing. I use it everyday and most of the time, when I'm not even wearing makeup. It just gives your face a fresh feeling. It smells amazing too, just like roses. My friend was with me when I used it last and she went to purchase one too. This stuff is amazing. I want to try out more of the MD product line! Any recommendations?

Morphe 35F -Fall into Frost

- This is my very first Morphe palette and I'm in love. The quality and quantity that you get for the value is amazing. I honestly can't believe it. My friend and I ordered this together and we were both blown away. It wears beautifully and last all day. They feel like butter and blend so well. I will say that they do have some fallout but if you just pat it on your lid, it works better..

Swatches here: Morphe 35F

Butter London Polish in Sunnies

-They were having a sell for $8 and this called to me. I'm so glad that I purchased it because it is so pretty. I definitely feel lighter and brighter when I'm wearing it. I feel like the sunshine is on my nails and it's a great feeling. Especially, on days when you are stuck at work and inside all day!

Jeffree Star Peach Goddess

- This is my first highlighter by him. I had to wait forever and missed out on the initial launch. I love this for a few reasons! First, is the size. IT. IS. HUGE. Not kidding! Second, it is gorgeous! It's so shiny and you just need the littlest bit. A little definitely goes a long way and this will last me forever.

Jeffree Star Doll Parts

- This is my second liquid lip that I've purchased from JS. I love this. This color is amazing and it has such lasting power. I think I like this more than Androgyny! What?! I know! This has been one of my go to lips lately.

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer

-This bronzer is everything!! I bought a backup because I love this so much. I haven't used another bronzer in months. I have been telling everyone about this. Not only does it last all day, blend great, it smells so good! Kind of like coconut sunscreen but better.

Jaclyn Hill Champagne Face Palette

- I ordered this when I was on vacation. That's how bad I wanted this! I've had Champagne Pop on my wish list for over a year and haven't pulled the plug. I saw this and I knew that I had to have it. I couldn't wait! It's as gorgeous on the face as it looks in the palette. It lasts long and looks great. You only need the lightest touch. There is some kickup, so be weary of that. I think that I liked Prosecco a bit more than Champagne, highlighter wise. You will not be disappointed with this, if you can get your hands on it!

Swatches Here: Champagne Face Palette

Lorac Pro 3

- I love all Lorac powders. I have a couple of their highlighters and just about all of their palettes. I love them all and this one is no different. These colors are right up my alley. They work well on the eyes and blend great. The only bag one in this is the bronze shade -Medallion-. It's awful and you really have to work hard for it to pay off.

Swatches here: Lorac Pro 3

That is all of them! Please comment below and tell me if any of these are your favorites or if you have any to add. I'm always out for new makeup! :)

Birchbox Points Purchase!

With the new Birchbox point system changing, I thought it was time to cash in. I've been saving for like 8 months but a lot of people are buying up and cancelling. I couldn't get the Benefit Cheekathon and didn't want any more of my cart to sell out!

By the way, I will be cancelling too. Their samples are extemely tiny and I only stuck around for the awesome points.

You now only get points for shopping and referrals. Not going to happen often here. They also took away the anniversary percentages and your points expire in 6 months, even if you are an ACE.

Anyways, into my purchases! I had $90 in points and only paid $19 out of pocket! These are all full size items.

Laura Mercier Translucent Oil-Free Loose Setting Powder - 1 0z $38

-I am so excited to try this. I've been hearing about it for over a year (first started getting into makeup) and it's been on my list.

Jouer Long-Wear Lip Crème Liquid Lipstick in Petale De Rose -$18

-I got Cassis in my Birchbox and decided I would buy a couple because I loved the formula. So soft and has great staying power. This one of the most recommended shades and it looked right up my alley.

Jouer Long- Wear Lip Crème Liquid Lipstick in Dulce de Leche - $18

-I was having a hard time deciding between this and Petale de Rose and so I decided I needed both! haha.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Patina- $24

-This was sold out FOREVER on Birchbox. I've heard about this over and over and when it finally came back in stock, I immediately added it to my cart. I was worried this would sell out fast.

Benefit POREfessional  Face Primer- .75oz $31

- I love, love this primer. I've had several samples and I'm almost out. It was time to actually purchase a full size. This works amazing at smoothing out my skin and adhering to my skin and makeup. I love this primer. I've tried a few and I just keep going back to this one.

These are some of my wish list items, so I'm very happy with what I got! I can't beat it for only $19!! I'm pretty stoked to use this stuff. Have you cashed in any of your points?! What are your Birchbox freebies?! I would love to hear it!

Play! by Sephora May 2016

Oh, Sephora, what are we to do with you?! This is the mystical box that so many were after for so long. I was on the waitlist from day one and lasted there for 7 months. I think it is a little more open to others now. This was the first month that they switched from the cute lipstick box to this bag. Its a win and a loss. I like that I don't have to store the boxes size but I always use them to store things. This bag, is useless and I really wont be using it. At least, with ipsy, you can actually use it as a makeup bag.

Anyways, the bag this month was cute but I don't know what I will do with several. Now, onto the products.

Origins Maskimizer Skin Optimizing Mask Primer + some masks (yay)

I love this. I don't know if it's the actual item working or a placebo but it feels like it gives my skin/mask an extra "umph." I feel like it just makes the mask go that extra mile and the results are great!

Bite Beauty, Amuse Bouche Lipstick- Kimchi
This is a bright pink, maybe too bright. I don't know that I can pull it off. Although, I've been wearing it more at home to get used to it. It's not in my comfort zone yet. Anyways, it's a great formula. Feels really good, has great pigmentation and it lasts a long time.

Tarteist Lip Crayon- Latergram
This is a mauve lip crayon that is just gorgeous. The sample is so small and I really want to buy one eventually. It's such a great nude mauve that works with many other colors in your collection, for sure. I also like to use it as just a crayon when I'm in a hurry. It has staying power but not too long.

KORRES Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening

I am a sucker for ANYTHING rose. Like anything! So, I was so excited to get this. I don't know that it actually brightened up my skin but it feels and smells great! I've only used it like twice, so I need to use it more consistently and I will get back to you!

Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask

I have not tried this yet. I'm so sorry!

Atelier Cologne - Orange Sanguine Cologne Asolue Pure Perfume

- Oh my gosh! I hate perfume and I am SO picky but I LOVE this! It smells like oranges and it smells so fresh and clean. It does not smell like only lady, which I feel like most do. It smells so unique and my husband even loved it. I wish I could afford to actually purchase this but it's $120 a bottle! --EEKK, so sad.
