First Influenster Voxbox!!!

I got my very first #VoxBox !! I was so excited to be selected since I'm new to Influenster. So I'm glad that I got a box so quickly. It is a personal hygiene product but I use these. I wish I would have known or I wouldn't have purchased them recently!

I received these complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

Thanks to Influenster and carefree

Spring nails!!

I'm really not feeling the green today! Haha

Here are my nails...

I used Beach Front Milani Nail Lacquer and Art Club Lilac Hologram

Crayon Art!

This thing has been a huge hit! It was absolutely so much fun to make too. I made this about a year ago and I'm happy to say that it's help up fantastically!

I two packs for 25ct. Crayola crayons and tried to arrange them with like colors. This way there's a smooth transition from light to dark. Anyways, it was pretty easy to do. I super glued the crayons to the middle of the canvas.

I then flipped one side down and used my hairdryer to melt HALF of the crayon. You have to be very careful to only melt half of the crayon. I didn't spend too much time and just try to get the drips. I didn't want to end up melting the whole crayon on one side.

Next, I let the crayon drips completely dry. You don't want them dripping when you flip the canvas to the other side. Then you just do the same and try to melt the other half of crayon only. After that was all said and done, I let it completely dry, laying it flat.

After a few days, I realized that there was something missing and I wanted something else. I used some mod podge and glitter to a wooden letter M. I loved that look and just glued it onto the middle of my crayon canvas. I've had SO many compliments when I've had anyone over and they see this.

I love it, it's fun and easy. I love that it has been durable. Been through a big move and still going strong. I can't wait to have children someday and do this with them!

Purple is the color of the day!

Yes, yes, I know. It's St. Patrick's day! Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!! I recently got some great products and I couldn't wait to try them out! Since it was an off day today, I thought there was no better time.

Anyways, I've heard so many things about the  e.l.f products. So, I've stocked up on some of them (some on clearance!) and today is the first test. I loved the colors of this e.l.f baked eye shadow. I usually try to go for a natural look and not bold. These colors go on lighter than they appear but that's perfect for me. I love the eye shadow trio.

I paired it with a purple eye liner ($1) by e.l.f. It goes on really light, which I love. You can definitely add as much as you would like. I just went over the line two times to get it the shade I wanted.

Then I used this awesome NYX purple mascara! I really had to put a few coats on to get the purple color but I love it. It's not only purple but it lengthens my lashes and makes them look awesome. This makes me want to buy NYX mascara for everyday use.

I decided to opt out of all other make up today and just use the moisturizer, LeeAnni Eco- 3 in 1 Revolution Light. I got it in my Ipsy glam bag this month. You are supposed to use it at night and morning. Usually, I just do it after I shower. It's two times a day sometimes. I've been using it for 4 days and my skin feels soft and looks good. I'm really happy with this so far!

Lastly, I used a Crown brush for my shadow and crease. I got this duo brush in my Ipsy glam bag this month. I love that I have both in one brush! It is so soft and it does a pretty good job of getting my shadow on. I love the crease side and works so much better.

My first @ipsy bag! @marchglambag

I love the Floral theme they had going on. I'm making a flower/garden display for work and had some of my flowers at home. Anyways, it's so fun getting something fun in the mail!

I received it last night and have tried all but one product.

LeeAnni  Eco
3 in 1 Revolution Light:

- I used this last night and this morning and love it so far. My skin is so soft and the product smells good. This is a small sample and I'll try to get as many uses as I can out of it. It might be something that I have to add to my purchases in the future.

Pixi by Petra
Mesmerizing Mineral Duo:

I have always wanted to try Pixi. I see it at Target all the time but it's just so expensive! It's got gorgeous packaging too. I was so stoked when I got this eye shadow duo in my bag! It's a tan and bronze color. They are my colors! Tans, browns and golds are my go-to shades for my eye shadow. I loved this product.

NYX Cosmetics
Butter Lipstick: Little Susie:

I was excited to get this in my bag. I have heard a lot of good things about NYX cosmetics. So when Target was having their super clearance on make up this month, I purchased a few NYX items. I haven't used them yet but when I do, I'll post it. Anyways, I got the pinkish color -Little Susie. I have to try it a few more times but so far, I'm not too impressed. I feel like it's too bright of a color for me. I'll wear it a couple more times to see. I'm not usually the type to wear lipstick, so it might be just something I need to familiarize myself with.

Crown Brush
Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet Brush:

I used this with my Pixi eye shadow! This brush is so soft and I loved it. I'll be using this for a long time. It was so easy to use and I didn't have to put a ton of shadow on it to show up on my eye. A little went a long way. Loved this brush!

I'll add about Purlisse when I use it! :)

Girl Diaper Cake

A friend and I went in together to make a diaper cake. They can get quite pricy! We spent about $45 dollars total. Babies and diapers are expensive! Oh well, I hope to have one, one day anyways :)

We used the following items:

-70 diapers
- 2pk pacifiers
- baby shampoo
- baby lotion
- Regular sized Desitin
- pack of wipes
- Everything was regular sized
-Cardboard to make bottom platform
- 6pk baby wash cloths
-3ft roll of ribbon
-Elephant topper -Can be anything from flowers to various stuffed animals.
-Bamboo sticks - For flowers
-Paper towel rolls (2) to make center. It makes it easer to add the diapers around it and hold the layers together.
-Rubber bands - A LOT. We used clear hair rubber bands for the diapers.
You then need larger ones to hold the diaper layers together.

As you can see, we placed the items in where some diapers were originally. This way the items were in the actual cake.

I made the actual wash cloth roses from just googling it on the internet. There's a ton of tutorials.

I've also made diaper bouquets for my sisters shower that is coming up in April. I'm throwing her whole shower and will post up one big post with all the décor I made and all that.

Canvas Art- Names

One of my best friends was having her first baby! I decided that I wanted to make something special for them but didn't know what. I got the idea off Pinterest, of course. There's so many ideas on there. I kind of knew the décor she wanted to do in the nursery, so I tried to match my colors as close as I could to Ella's room. They seemed to really like it and so did everyone I showed a picture to. So I think it will become my "baby gift" from now on.

We were throwing a baby shower at work and they mentioned that I should make one for her. Don't worry, totally bought an actual gift too. You can never have enough baby stuff! I also made her a diaper cake that I will post up next.

Items I used:

-Canvas, size of your choosing
-Acrylic paints
-Mod Podge
-Paint Brush
-Glitter, if using
-Pencil, if not drawing freehand.

-For the fonts, I typed up some that I wanted and then traced then onto the canvas.
I then did the first (Ella) filigree by hand and got a stencil for (Erin). It's really what you prefer doing and knowing what you can do.

Makeup DIY Metal Organizer

This was actually pretty easy to do. I recently started wearing make up again. I mean, I never really used to wear that much of it before. I just have become obsessed with all kinds of make-up and decided to start my collection. I'm going to be 28 soon.. Time to start covering up all those imperfections!

It was actually great timing. Target was having a SUPER clearance sale on a lot of their make-up. I got brands such as; e.l.f., Physicians Formula, Sally Hansen, Revlon, Kiss Nails, L’oreal, NYX, EOS and a few more. I got a great amount of make-up for probably 35 dollars. Great deal! Here’s a couple pictures I took without the clearance stickers. Should have left them on but wasn't thinking about it!

There's a couple times I went back and got 3-5 times for $3-4 dollars each time. I did not take pics of those and post them on Instagram because I didn't want to seem too obsessed! Haha. :-)

Anyways, I don’t really have a place to store my make-up. I’ve been talking to my husband about getting a vanity desk and chair for our bedroom. We recently moved to a big house and we need a lot of furniture. So my vanity is far down on the totem pole.  Well… I needed a quick fix… Pinterest.

Pinterest is amazing!! I can find anything on there. So, I found a few DIY magnetic frames that you can attach magnets to you make-up and they will stick to the frame. I went to get my supplies and it probably cost me around $15 with coupons!

What you need:

A metal sheet – I went to Lowe’s and got a 12X18 for $4.99

Tacky Spray glue- Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon

Magnetic sheets- Tacky Glue brand – Michaels with 40% off coupon

Some type of décor. I used scrapbook sheets and I know some people use wrapping paper. Whatever will match the rest of your décor.

A frame- Now, I don’t know where to get a 12X18 frame that isn’t custom made. I don’t want to spend more than $5. So I’m going to have my husband drill two holes in the top to hang on the wall.

This is a quick, temporary fix. I want to get a vanity, maybe for my birthday! So, I’m not too concerned about the framing part. That’s something that’s totally up to you.

Anyways, it didn't take long at all to put it all together! The longest part is cutting up pieces of the magnet to attach to all your make-up. I recommend putting as much magnet on the bag, of each piece, as you possibly can.

I have not glued the stripes on top yet because my husband will drill the jokes first.

Overall, this was super easy and pretty cheap!

#Crafting and #Beaty!

Crafts are a passion of mine. It's something I love to do when I feel an restless or stressed. Making something completely awesome by my OWN two hands, is empowering. It's pretty much awesome. I love to make these as gifts too. They seem to be well received and not to brag, I get a lot of "open an etsy account". I just don't know that if I HAVE to do it, it will be as satisfying. So right now, I'm just going to continue doing them for myself and gifts. I'll start blogging and maybe even some tutorials on how I do some of these awesome crafts.

Something else that I've become obsessed with is Beauty products. I haven't really worn a lot of make-up. I have been obsessed with nail polish and all things nail decor related. You should see my nail polish collection! I'm constantly doing my nails and trying new themes/colors. I'll post some of those too. I have been dying to get an #ipsy account, which I have! YAY! Now, I can't wait to get my hands on anything and everything. I'll start trying out some new looks to see what I like. I'm also setting up and Influenster account (Voxbox). I need to get some followers on here though. Over the next couple weeks, I'll start posting about some of the things I've done lately. I would also like to make this a place to do reviews on all the new products I get from ipsy and *hopefully* voxbox.

So that's it for now! :)
